Simply say hello to the world.
Given some of our advances in technology we are becoming less and less social. And yet we have social media as the tagline.
I have learned that I am a very outgoing person. People laugh hysterically when I tell them that I was shy.
“Yea right!? YOU?”
And I was. I was trained to be quiet. I was taught that shut up and do as you are told. Can anyone else relate to that?
So try something today and say hi to 5 total strangers. If you feel compelled and they seem to be intersted in conversation… ask them about their story. Who are they?
Let them know that you are alive and breathing.
And enjoy. You might even find a girlfriend.

Beautiful film, the music really makes it so emotional. About the point ‘to connect’, I think it’s difficult in today’s society to just walk up to someone and say something. People seem nervous or suspicious (I am guilty of both too).
With social media, the interface of our devices provides us with a ’screen’ with which to shield ourselves and pretend that we have safety and comfort. Maybe using social media to make those ‘first conversation’ steps is the way to bring it to reality.
