Why is it important for men to educate themselves about sexual abuse?

As the saying goes: there is a reason most men tell their daughters to be careful and avoid interactions with men as much as possible. They don’t tell them, “not all men are rapists.”

Women are not obligated to talk about an experience that doesn’t affect them. Rape is about power, not sexual gratification.
